Mike Starr the former bassist of Alice in chains died yesterday, his death has surely affected all his near & dear ones but most of all his fans. His fans have jammed the MTV news with end number of comments about the golden memories of his great work & given condolences to his family & friends. Dr Drew who was treating the talented musician at celebrity rehab was also in great pain & was hurt very badly. His close friends Motley Crue’s, Nikki Sixx are also in tremendous grief.
Mike was very recently featured in the third season of celebrity reality show ‘Celebrity rehab with Dr. Drew’ on Vh1 in 2011. The series caught the treatment of the legendary musician’s on heroin addiction at Pasadena Recovery Center. Starr seemed to be on the verge of recovery for near about six months & seven days.
Latest reveal that the legend has surely left his trace on the sands of time. Heroin & other drug addictions have devasted many lives. The addiction not just kills the addict but also kills the inner soul of the person’s family & near ones. Kim said: “Not only do I love Alice in Chains, but I watched Mike on ‘Celebrity Rehab’ and ‘Sober House’ and you get to where you feel like you know them. This breaks my heart in two…there are not words. RIP, Mike.” Charlotte said that she is really heartbroken & is speechless, her all condolences to the stars family, the late musician had special space in her life.
