Perscription Pills and How to Know if Ur Addicted?
Question by Pink Chickita: perscription pills and how to know if ur addicted?
it all started from just taking them randomly at parties becaus i dont drink and i felt like the odd one out by not being messed up…also ive always been very self concious of my weight and not to long ago i realized i was getting fatter…i started eating really healthy and working out like crazy and i would take a pill of some kind to make me not hungry and to not eat excess calories…i only took a pill after my workout after work and that way i wouldnt eat again for the rest of the night to maybe help me lose weight…
im not addicted to them yet but ive been getting them like every other day sometimes every day when i get out of work..( but i can go days without the drug and dont feel like i NEED it) i dont think about them all the time but i use them when i want to relax.. i do not believe that a detox or any type of rehab will be nessesary because its not even close to that point yet..i am just noticing this addictive behavior in myself before it gets out of control…i have a family history of drug abuse and even suicides from drug abuse in my family…im not really sure how to stop “cold turkey” my bf also does them with me and he used to be addicted to heroin before i met him.. i do not want him to fall down the same path and ruin our relationship that is so strong…i would like to know how to help us both (he also doesnt think he has a problem) i would like to maybe wein myself off of it by smoking weed (been a pot head for years) i figured maybe that would help considering it gives you the same type of high feeling.( but would cause anxiety for weight gain hunger) ..if anyone knows how i can talk to my bf about both of us quitting and not turning back…i hope you can help me..thanks for the help in advance
