ABOUT SMOKING WEED (I Know This Sounds Stupid But….) Please Answer?

Question by emily?: ABOUT SMOKING WEED (i know this sounds stupid but….) please answer?
i know what smoking weed (marijuana) does to you and that it can affect your brain, but i just wanted to know how much damage it would have done to me by now.
well when i started smoking it i was in year 8 but i did it about 7 times in about 2 months, then stopped.
year 9 i did it about 5 times in the hole year
year 10 i did it about 10 times
and this year (im year 11 now) ive smoked about 6 joints already and the years only really just started
so im wondering what damage has happened to me from this?

also im not a “druggie” or a “looser” i only do it nowa’days to take my period pains away because no pain killer, not even the ones my doctor prescribes for me, works.
so this is the only way the pains go.

Question by ta-dah: movies about marijuana?
are there any movies that deal with marijuana?
i like movies about drug addiction but they are mostly heroin.
i’d prefer it to be an independent movie but anythings fine.

also, i realize that marijuana is not addictive and only obsessive and i’m not against it i just enjoy drama movies that deal with addiction to drugs i just never saw one that revolved around weed.

Cheech & Chong – That’s all thier movies are about. Marijuana. They are also hilarious !! I recommend for a good laugh, after watching addiction movies, they are so depressing.

I Have a Question About “Babies Born in Addiction”?

Question by Anjel: I have a question about “Babies born in addiction”?
please help me understand (if you know)…
I know what addiction is (no cure)
I know what an addict is (once one always one)
so if a baby is born in his or her mother’s addictions (crack or heroin is what I’m looking into) will the baby ALWAYS be an addict?
What I’m trying to ask is since an addict will always be an addict will a “drug baby” born into addiction always be one and if that child ever did any drugs (later in life) will it cause an automatic relapse?

I will watch your answers as they come in- I never thought about the later affects of drug use on infants born with that drug in their system. My best guess would be that any drug entering the child’s system at any time will cause reactions we can only guess at rather than the expected ones. The neurologic and physical damage done by the drugs during fetal developement may alter the normal reactions to future drug use.

Answer by jamie p
Nope
Sully decided to write this song after watching the movie The Serpent and the Rainbow, a film involving Voodoo and Witchcraft. Many believe it is about drugs, specifically a heroin addiction (“The snakebite enter my veins”).

Questions About Medical Marijuana Card?

Question by SkepsisVoid: Questions about medical marijuana card?
I would like to get one to treat my schizophrenia, i’ve tried various pills that have hurt more than helped.

Here are my concerns:
Can you get a medical card for mental illness or anemia?
Will it effectively treat either of those conditions?
What are the basic agreements of owning one? (where you can smoke, how much you can buy at once, age restrictions, etc.)

Any information will be appreciated, thank you.
As specified above, schizophrenia is my specific mental illness.

Heroin Withdrawal: About Heroin and Heroin Withdrawal?

Question by Ande Snn: About heroin and heroin withdrawal?
First of all all that I want it’s information about the thing that I’m asking about and not your personal opinions about what I’m doing.

I want to start doing Heroin, only pure heroin of course, and since I don’t want to damage my veins I’ll snort it through my nose.

Since I don’t have too much money and I also have a job I don’t want to do Heroin all the day or daily. I want to take it maybe one to four times per day and also not a very big amount. A moderated one.

I was just reading on a site about the withdrawal symptoms of Heroin and it was saying :

“With physical dependence, the body has adapted to the presence of the drug, and withdrawal symptoms occur if use of the drug is reduced or stopped abruptly. Some users take heroin on an occasional basis, thus avoiding physical dependence.
