Heroin and Codeine belong to a group of drugs called Opiates. Opiates are inherited from the opium poppy. The people who took Codeine became addicted to it, this was the major problem. This new drug was named as heroin. Statistics say that unaided, only about 2% of the population can free themselves of this habit without help.
