Question by Adam R.: I have smoked pot every day for the last 10 years, what will happen if I quit?
I have been a daily pothead since my sophomore year in high school. I am now 25 years old and I want to go to college and make something of my life, but I am worried about my marijuana dependency and the effects it has had on my memory and critical thinking skills.

What should I expect in terms of withdrawal if I quit cold turkey? I know this is weed not heroin, and my “addiction” is more of a mental thing than a physical thing, but I am still worried that my brain has gotten so used to being high that I won’t feel “normal” without my daily toke.
