Question by Diana: Know what I don’t get about adults..?
So I found this question..
Where it was “I found my mom’s pot, what do I do?” & I’d say..more than half of the answers were “You’re over-reacting, its just weed.”
Then I found this other question a while back.. & it said “What do I do? My mom found my cig’s?!” & ALL of the fuc*ing answers except for like.. 2 out of I’d say about..14 were “You shouldn’t be smoking! You’re getting lungcancer. Blah blah blah”
Seriously?
I’m not saying adults shouldn’t smoke but its weed vs. cigs.
Weed is illegal. Cig’s aren’t.
They’re both smoking, the teen & adult but the adult is smoking ‘worst’. (Acording to the law)
Not saying I hate weed or cigs.. How are you gonna say not to do something..but do it 10x worst.
STILL NOT SAYING I HATE WEED OR ANYTHING.

Agreed. There is much false “facts” floating around for both tobacco and marijuana.
I was recently talking to my dad about this. While smoking is bad, schools teach you to alienate yourself from everyone who smokes. Elementary school told me that my dad’s smoking would kill me. As a kid, you kinda just hear “dad will kill me”.
But yes, anti-cigarette people are often radicals. A lot of their promotions are false. I know a lot of people won’t believe that because it’s been instilled into their minds.
And as for marijuana users, they just need an excuse to smoke when it all comes down to there idiotic “No, it’s not addicting!! It’s natural!! God made it!!” You know what else is natural? Opium, Heroin, Cocaine, Tobacco. You know 1 in 12 people get addicted to weed? No one wants to believe that either. The problem is, cigarettes have a lot of chemicals. There are cigarettes that are additive free, but still. However, if you aren’t growing your own weed or buying it from medical clinics, you can’t deny that there may be pesticides, genetic mutation (for examply “OG” marijuana is mutated to be more potent). Basically, if your weed is not coming from a confirmed source, you can’t say that crap is healthier. Especially if your weed is from outside the country. You think weed or tobacco growers care what’s in your body? No. They care about making big supply and distributing. Sheesh.
Anyways. I don’t hate weed either. I don’t care who smokes it. Just… learn the facts. Learn exactly what’s going into your body. A lot of second-hand smoke claims are myth. Cigarettes make you more susceptible to cancer, it’s not the true cause. Marijuana does the same. But so doesn’t sunlight? UV Rays? Fast food addiction kills people and that’s legal. See what I mean?
