People Who Do Drugs for a While When They Are Young, and Then Move On?

Question by Oyeloca Oyeloca: People who do drugs for a while when they are young, and then move on?
Some people “experiment” with drugs when they are young, and later say “been there, done that, bought the t-shirt”. And the whole thing does not affect them in any negative way. An extreme example would be Bill Clinton and his marijuana joints while students.

So I wonder, this people are just genetically different than those who become addicts? Or it’s just a matter of willpower and education?

You mention 3 of, maybe, 30,000 factors. Why did you pick those three?

Marijuana has never been found to be physically addictive that I’ve heard of. So using marijuana is totally wrong. Wanting something isn’t being addicted. In fact marijuana is a terrible example because there are plenty of functional “stoners”, you just don’t know who they are. As to people who are REALLY addicted and have REAL drug problems the difference is that they usually are finally able to admit they have a problem and do use willpower. Now sometimes it is about your body, take alcohol for example. You have people who drink, and alcoholics.
