This was the first time I ever took the suboxone so it was the first time introduced into my system. I took it at about 8am yesterday and the vicodin at about 2:00 pm this afternoon

No. Suboxone is explicitly designed to suppress the withdrawal symptoms without creating the high.

if it was your first dose you should still feel the opiate. Later on the effect of the opiate not be felt at all. A lot of it depends on how much Suboxone you take and how much time passed between doses
