If you withdraw junk food for a certain amount of time like for 6 weeks or whatever will it become less satisfying to me? I know that I can never only 1 serving of desert so if I actually hold out for a long time on no sweets (I wont starve myself just giving up junk food) will it become less appealing??

yes, if you can give up sugar/sweetened food for about 2-3 weeks, the thought of the taste of sweetness will actually start to repel you

I’ve been doing this for several months. I wouldn’t say it’s less appealing but you’ll think of and crave it less. Consuming a lot of sugar makes you want more sugar.

Once in awhile when I do have anything sweet, I don’t like the things that are ultra sweet where as before I preferred them.
