What Do You Think of Medicinal Marijuana? a Local Slant?
Question by handyman: What do you think of medicinal marijuana? A local slant?
In my state, medical marijuana is legal and licensed, although this is a fairly recent occurrence. A man was recently fired from Wal-Mart because he failed a mandatory drug test. As it turns out, he carries a card that entitles him the right to smoke pot for a medical condition. (They didn’t state on the news report what it was.) His lawyers claim that he was unjustly fired because he wasn’t doing anything illegal. Wal-Mart’s lawyers claim that they do not have to follow state guidelines, because they are justified in firing the man according to federal law. So, what’s the answer?
@answers smartass – It’s a good thing you don’t smoke pot, because if you did, your answer would even more misspelled and poorly punctuated.
