I’m trying to quit cold turkey here (no methadone, no bupes). I am not a crazy drug addict or anything. I have just been taking Norco/Lorcet (depending on which of my two doctors I go to) for around 4 years. I’m tired of feeling worried and anxious when I run out, which I always do. Not because of abuse, but because of the doctor’s instructions on taking it and how often he/she will prescribe it. Norco is supposed to last two weeks, which is does, but I cannot afford to go to my doctor every two weeks. Lorcet lasts longer, since it has less dosages, but it is even worse. I run out, but I am scripted THIS by my OBGYN (I have very bad endometriosis) and she charges insane prices just to have her check out my female parts and write a prescription. Hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of uncomfortable examination and a script.

I picked up an homeless acquaintance literally “off the street” …says he’s serious about trying to kick; giving him his prescription meds, Clonapin, Seroquel and Trazadone; he’s disoriented when awake; trying to keep him resting & comfortable; last fix 6am today; ANY suggestions welcome!
(he’s done the inpatient thing several times with no success)
UPDATE: Friday June 23…..I feel that I have failed my friend, but three days and three nights dealing with a heroin addict have exhausted me, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually…..had to take him back downtown this morning as he has gotten progressively sicker…he refused to go back into a rehab facility, although I begged him to do so. However, my conscience is clear; I fed him and provided every material thing he needed; all I can do now is pray for him. A recovering alcoholic myself, I realized that I have put myself in danger of losing my sobriety, and I cannot risk that. THANKS to ALL of you for your answers, your prayers and support. Peace to all.

Can anyone tell me the name of a person who was on intervention for weed, or the name of a person who was younger than 20 when they were on the show?
ive seen one about a 15 year old girl using meth so i know for a fact you dont have to be 18.

I think that everyone on “Intervention” has to be at least 18 and most of the people on the show are in their 30’s. Corrine in season 2 at 18 was the youngest so far.

i’m a twenty year old guy, and last august i was passing kidney stones and was rushed to the hospital. i still have alot inside of me but none that are that painful so i am off meds. i just wanted to take it up again because lately i am stressed with school and theres just so much on my mind. these pills are meant to relax people, and i took some before without any negative effects. i was wondering if i could take like one or two a day only for a little while until i recover from this crappy part of my life. this won’t harm me in any way, right????
